Odaiba is one of the coastal parts of Tokyo..just 30 mins away from Tokyo station. You can take Rinkai line to reach there. This is one of the places where you would like to go unlimited number of times without getting bored. This is best place for hangout,romantic nights,friends outing,family outing..suited for everything. But whats specialty of this place?
I started my journey by reaching to tokyo teleport station via rinkai line. This station is a mid point of Odaiba..so all places where you would like to visit are reachable from this station in just 10-15 mins walk. Reaching to the station first me and my friends went for lunch in Salma Indian restaurant. This restaurant is located 5 bus stops away from this station. Very closer to Shinagawa station. Had a good biryani and started our journey to experience different tokyo. First we went to Fuji television observatory. The ticket cost is 700 yen per person. you get a beautiful view of entire Tokyo seacoast ports docks from this observatory. It is on 25th floor of Fuji television building. This building also very unique in architecture..globe in between and different styled windows etc.. Post spending alomst 45 mins we headed towards a Gundam statue. This statue is just 7 mins walk from fuji building. You dont need to climb down each time as everything here is connected by overbridge so its simple to access locations. Gundam status is placed outside Round one mall. This is very big robot statue and lots of crowd you can see taking photos. While walking towards this statue you will able to see some different constructed buildings..after spending some time we headed towards a replica of statue of liberty. This statue is almost exact replica of US statue of liberty. and also located near seashore..so you can get a beautiful view of entire Tokyo city skyliners/ports etc along with sunset..you can spend ample of time here just watching different colors of nature. Another big attraction is rainbow bridge. Once it started getting dark this bridge is illuminated with rainbow colors and you can take really awesome pics with it.
Post spending almost an hour we started our journey to Teamlab borderless. This is I must say a unique place giving you unique experience. So Tokyo visit cant be complete without visiting this venue. This is big illumination/light projection/colors merging place. You will get submerged with different colors..Here you can see the excellence of technology what Japan has achieved. I cant explain this experience in words and hence posting a video link of the same here you to experience it through video.
