Soham’s Big Adventure: Day One at Hoikuen! 🎒✨

Today, May 1st, was a day for the history books—Soham officially started *hoikuen*! Our little explorer is growing up so fast, and we couldn't be more excited for this new chapter.

The lead-up to today was quite the mission! We had a lovely interview with the school staff where we chatted all about Soham’s favorite foods, his quirky habits, and his bubbly personality. Then came the "labeling marathon"—thanks to a detailed checklist from the school, we spent time stamping Soham’s name on everything from his tiny shoes and bedsheets to his clothes and diapers. Everything is officially "Soham-certified" and ready for action!

This morning, Soham was absolutely buzzing with energy. Since he’s a boy who *loves* an outing, he was thrilled to head out the door for his new adventure. When we arrived, we were so relieved to meet Yumina-san, who was just the kindest soul. She took him right under her wing and guided him to his classroom. And the best part? He didn’t even look back! He was so ready to dive into school life that he waved us off without a second thought.

Since it was his first day, he had a short and sweet 2.5-hour session. When we went to pick him up, our hearts just melted—he was sitting there, completely absorbed in playing with his cars, looking like he’d been a student there for years! Yumina-san shared some adorable photos with us, and it was clear he was having a blast. In fact, he was having *so much fun* that he wasn't even ready to leave when we arrived!
