Japan, totally new country for me to work, Only 1 or 2 persons known (Known not friends etc..), language is further barrier..but finally landed in Japan. Surprisingly got a warm welcome by one of the MBA classmates Hiromi (one person which I was knowing before) at the airport itself and half of the worries gone. Later I started exploring the new world. Roaming to various places to know the country and the people, their lifestyle, culture etc.. We say this social media really diverts individual’s mind but if you use this social media for good purpose, it is far more beneficial..same way I decided to use FB to connect with different people online.. initially got to know about “ Tokyo marathi mandal” and immediately started searching for the contacts to join it..thankfully from FB itself I got various contacts and got connect to them..then As you all may know, I am singer so definitely my search for singing groups started..one good group within Tokyo I found “ Tokyo tarang” and got connected to the people of that group as well..

Slowly gradually I started making connections within Japan and felt like our people are here as well no worries.. I did attend Tokyo marathi mandal and Tokyo tarang programs initially but unfortunately due to CORONA, everything stopped..and the connections which I made remained on FB only.. I still continued contacts with these people..Meanwhile when I had been asked by my company who is your local guardian, I had no one to mention than Dipti (Name changed) (she is the 2nd person whom I knew before but never met)..thankfully she supported me by giving her details. So now I have around 15/20 people connected on FB.. few of them I met personally..others just FB friends.. Then I heard about HSS (Hindu swayamsevak Sangh) is also present in Japan and started searching for some contacts..initially I got few contacts but they were very far from me..so practically no use.. also Shakha was bit far from my home..luckily I got one contact Ram ji(Name changed) who I can say stays little nearby from my home and shakha which he used to take is also accessible to me..may not be daily but in between atleast I can join..so I contacted Ram ji on phone.. spoke..got to know he is also marathi so felt little good.. and then decided to go to shakha once to see how far it is and how it functions here..Visiting Shakha was normal experience..met couple of members..and importantly met Ram ji as well..Ram ji a very calm sober personality man..almost of my age only… in first visit itself he invited me to his home..had chitchat breakfast and felt bit homely there..during chat itself Ram ji turned into Ram..

Days gone.. almost 2 years..I am well settled in Japan.. now having some good contacts in my apartment complex/colleagues etc..(still cant say them as good friends though)..due to corona effect other than shakha everything was stopped.. shakha was held online regularly so I could able to attend..due to that I got good connect with Ram..everything was going as usual..from around 2021 end shakha started physically.. I couldn’t still go.. I guess in total I attended 2/3 physical shakha..in 2022 year start..Jan 8.. I felt like going to shakha again after long time..so went there.. met Ram and few other members.. had fun..but unfortunately met with an accident that time.. and broken my ankle..(actually broken.. ankle got dislocated).. I was in very much pain.. and being alone don’t know whom to ask for help..thankfully Ram and Suresh (name changed) were present on the incident site.. they just ran and came to help me..They did temporary bandage and with the help of Punit (Name changed) took me to nearby hospital.. where doctor checked my leg and mentioned that I need surgery..Also during that time it was national holiday in japan so no one were ready to admit me. Ram took full charge of the situation and decided to shift me to his home for temporary basis till I get admission to hospital..He and his family did literally everything for me without thinking anything else He became my parent/brother whatever u wanna call..Other members suresh/punit and Ajay (Name changed) also helped Ram during this time..Seeta (Name changed) Ram’s wife served me with all yummy healthy food and took atmost care. Not a single moment during my stay at Ram home, I felt that I am outside somewhere away from my family..

I believe in god and have faith as well..I have read many stories that people have seen god in some or other way.. initially I used to look at those as just stories.. couldn’t really believe that someone can see god..But during this incident, I actually seen GOD in Ram…My respect for him further increased. At each moment, I was seeing GOD helping me..That moment itself I felt that yes GOD does exist and within human itself..(of course may be some humans only)..and believed and linked those stories as well how people must have seen GOD during their tough times.. Someone who does such extent of selfless help are none other than GOD only..Along with Ram the other 3 who also supported me emotionally are equally respectable. I hardly met these people during Shakha and still they did everything for me and still doing. I will never forget their kindness and will always keep them as my idols.

In Japan, If anyone asks me do you have friends/family, I can confidently say, YES..along with my family.. there is my extended family as well..

(Whatever he is doing cant be explained with the help of words but I just wanted to express out my feelings hence tried)
